Acrylic copolymer is a white powdered hydrophobic modified
crosslinked acrylic copolymer with long rheology, good
transparency, suspension capacity and stability of emulsification
system, and has noble non-stick feel. It can replace traditional
carbomer 934 for creams or lotions, and replace carbomer 940 or 980
for clear gels.
Excellent electrolyte resistance makes it ideal for formulations
containing higher concentrations of botanic ingredients or
moisturizers, and CARBOPOL ULTREZ 20 polymers are very easy to use,
self-wetting and dispersing in minutes. The rheological modifiers
and stabilizers also provide electrolyte resistance and a unique
feel to the formulation. It can be used in systems containing
moderate surfactants and is suitable for use in shampoos, body
washes, gels, lotions and creams.
