We are a small factory for quartz &.glass cuvettes in China. Those cuvettes are widely use for spectrophotometer, fluorometers, colorimeters.
For the quartz cuvettes, we made from top grade material Synthetic Silica, which called JGS1in China. It is similar like Corning ***0 or Heraeus.
 
How to make a cuvette:

  1. U type + 2 windows for standard cuvettes, for fluorescence cuvettes, you need 4 pieces windows
  2. There are 3 ways to make above together:
ONE UV GLUE, glue will stick the windows to the U type together.It is very easy and no special requirements, just one UV Light could do that. Those glued cuvettes are cheaper and can not load organic solvents. Acid and Alkali cant resistant.
Temperature can only be normal.
 
Second: Diffusion-Bonded or called Sintered technology
We use this way to make our cuvettes. It can bear the Organic solvents, like Hydrochloric or Alkali resistance. Compare the seamless cuvettes, it is economic way only need you not put the Inorganic solvents inside it. But it cant welded the screw neck or tubes. Temperature can up to **0 degree. We really suggest you buy this type.
 
Third: Newtons ring, the cuvettes is Seamless. The whole cuvettes body just like a fixed body, strong and SEAMLESS. It can welded the tubes or screw neck. If not consider the unit price, those cuvettes are the best and can load evey kind of solvents in lab. Inorganic solvents need this type.
Temperature can be to ***0 degree, because there are no intermedia inside the connected walls.
