D-Filter

1. Introduction

The D-filter is a high-speed gravity filter, which is designed independently by Dean Group with theadoptions of DA**3 adaptive filter media, small-resistance distribution system, air-water backwashing, andconstant/changeable water level filter method. D-filter owns the main advantages of traditional high-speedfilter. More importantly, the multi-performance of D-filter is better than traditional high-speed filter withadoption of DA**3 filter technology. In a word, the D-filter is a practical, new and high-efficiency filter.

2. Features

-With the employment of the DA**3 filtering medium, high-speed and high-precision filtration is achieved, therefore footprint is reduced and effluent quality is improved;

-This D-filter can be controlled manually or automatically. The selection of the control method can be decided based on customer's requirement flexibly;

-There is little filter media losses in backwashing process due to a special intercepting technology;

-Water consumption of backwashing is low to 1%*2%, and thus lower the operation cost;

-D-filter has two types of structure: steel and concrete. Based on the practical demands of customers, steel or concrete can be decided, thus the investment cost is reduced;

-D-filter is resistant to variable loading rates.
