Movable Sludge Dewaterer

1. STRUCTURE

This screw dewaterer mainly consists of overlapping fixed rings and moving rings, and screw axis across the rings. Moving rings rotate with screw axis to clean the pore in filtering zone to protect the system from blockage.

2. DEWATERING PRINCIPAL

The gap between fixed rings and moving rings, together with the screw pitch of screw axis are narrowed down gradually from thickening zone to dewatering zone across the filter cake discharge outlet. The sludge is transferred to dewatering zone after thickening zone by gravity, and is fully dewatered under the internal pressure produced by back-pressure board in discharge outlet.

3. WIDELY APPLICATION
- This dewaterer served as a precedent for the direct dewatering of low concentration (2**5g/l) sludge from oxidation ditch, 

- There is no need to use thickening tank and storage tank, 
- It does not make any stinky smell.

4. LITTLE BLOCKAGE & AUTO CLEANING

- The main body of the machine has the function of self-cleaning, 
- Less water is required for cleaning and washing (only*0 l/h),
- The dewaterer is suitable for oily sludge treatment

5. AUTO RUN

The machine runs automatically and continuously (*4 hours) once timing device is set.

6. LITTLE FRICTION

- A special framework is adopted to drive moving rings in reciprocating movement.
- There is little friction between screw blades and moving rings.

- The gap between movable rings and fixed rings has special structure. The dewatering efficiency has been doubled comparing with  similar dewatering products.

*1. DESIGN COST REDUCTION

There are many types and series of the products. The most suitable type can be selected based on different treatment scales, which can avoid usage of a large machine for the small amount of sludge treatment. The dewaterer is compact, in which the thickening and dewatering are integrated. The machine itself has auxiliary devices, such as operational panel and sludge flocculation reaction trough, etc., which is highly compatible with corollary equipments and convenient for design.

a) The small-scale dewaterer can fit local situation easily to save the construction cost and the space used for the dewaterer placement;
b) This dewaterer has a function of sludge thickening. There is no thickening and storage unit needed, which can reduce the construction cost and the total area requirement for the wastewater treatment system.
