Gorelocker is a specific machine for fabrication of round spiral ducting. There are 2 separate workstations: a flanging station and seam closing station. Two operators can work at the same time as to improve the productivity. The standing seam reduces welding requirement to just one longitudinal seam and improves rigidity. The machine can easily produce segment bends, reducers, end caps, offsets, etc.
Process of elbow fabrication
1. Sheet cutting
This is a very important stage. Plasma cutting table is a good colleague of gorelocker for profile cutting. An accurate profile can be seam closed easier.
2. Joint and welding
Joint the sheet metal plate form head to end by welding. It is better to bended by *-roll bending machine before it is welded.
3. Single flange making and double flange making
These two profiles are made in the same workstation and the same roller by adjusting up and down the working table.
4. Seam closing
This is made in a different workstation of the above process. There are corresponding rollers for different diameter range of machine’s capacity.
