FEATURES Since hard chrome improves specifications of the machine parts, it is widely used in the industry. Extreme hardness ( **0 - ***0 HV ) - Low cofficient of friction - High wear resistance - Never lose brightness in atmospheric condition - Good corrosion resistance - Very good bonding - Can be well ground, honed, lapped, polished APPLICATION ADVANTAGES Hard chrome plating is used to improve life time of new machine parts and it is also used to repair worn, damaged or mismachined worthy machine parts. - Parts are not warped at low operation temperature ( ****5 C) - Can be strippe off and plate on the stell substrate several time - From very small to very large workpiece CAPACITY When using conditions, technical requirements and cost are taken into consideration, pieces are plated up to ***0µm thickness. But in some special applications, plating thickness can be over ***0µm. Hard chrome plating applications are made in vertical bath which has Ø**0x***0 mm workpieces capacity. And also some applications are made in other horizantal and vertical baths which has different dimensions. More complex parts like moulds and tubes are plated in special baths.
