NYY - PVC insulated power cables

Product Description

Power cables up to 3 kV with insulation and sheathing made of PVC plastic. They are manufactured according to TU TU 16.K01-47-200. The cables meet the requirements of GOST 31996-2012.
Cables by design, technical characteristics and performance properties comply with NYY and NAYY brands according to DIN VDE 0276 part 603 and DIN VDE 0276 part 627 standards of Germany and IEC requirements 60502-1.
APPLICATION.
Cables are designed for transmission and distribution of electric power in stationary electrical installations for rated alternating voltage up to 0.6/1 kV with rated frequency up to 50 Hz. Cables are designed for laying outdoors, in the ground, indoors and in cable ducts.
Cables are manufactured for industrial use in supplying to the domestic market and for export.
CONSTRUCTION.
Сonductor - round or sector-shaped, copper, single or multi-wire 1 or 2 class according to GOST 22483. 2.
Insulation - of polyvinylchloride plasticate. Zero core insulation (O) is blue. Insulation of grounding cores (J) green-yellow color.
Twist - Insulated cores of three-, four-, and five-core cables are twisted into a core around a PVC plastic-coated or unvulcanized rubber harness.
Filling - of unvulcanized rubber compound.
Sheath - of polyvinyl chloride plastic compound.
SPECIFICATIONS.
Type of climatic version of cables UHL, placement categories 1 and 5 according to GOST 15150.
Maximum allowable core heating temperature at short-circuit currents: (for cables with conductive cores of cross-section more than 300 mm2) - not more than 160/140 °С.
Operating temperature range from -50 °Сto 50 °С.
Relative humidity at temperature up to 35 ° C - up to 98%.
Cables shall be laid and installed without preheating at the temperature of -15 °C minimum.
Permissible bending radius of cables during laying: single-core - not less than 15 outer diameters; multi-core - not less than 12 outer diameters.
Cables do not propagate combustion in case of single laying.
Long-term permissible core heating temperature during operation - not more than 70 °C.
Short circuit duration should not exceed - 4 s.
Permissible temperature of cable core heating in overload mode - not more than 80 °C.
Maximum core heating temperature under conditions of non-flammability in a short circuit - not more than 350 °C. Duration of operation of cables in overload mode, not more than 8 hours a day and not more than 1000 hours for the entire service life of cables. Construction length of cables for cross-sections of main conductors:
- 1.5 - 16 mm2 - 450 m;
- 25 - 70 mm2 - 300 m;
- 95 mm2 and more - 200 m.
Service life - 30 years.
Warranty service life - 5 years from the date of putting the cables into operation, but not later than 6 months from the date of manufacture.
Storage life: in outdoor areas - not more than 2 years; under a roof - not more than 5 years; in closed rooms - not more than 10 years.
