Product Description

1. Product Introduction

Youlong Clenbuterol test strip is designed for rapid results of Clenbuterol contamination in urine sample, meet as well as viscus (especially lean, liver, lungs and kidney) and feed. No other instrument equipment is needed. Minimum detective limit is 5 ug/kg.

4. Sample Preparation

A. Urine Sample:

Collect around *0ml urine with a dry and clean centrifuge tube or an appropriate vessel. Urine can be refrigerated storage at 4ºC in short-term, but should avoid failure or contamination caused by corruption. If there is precipitation or turbidity in urine, please centrifuge before testing. When the result is positive, divide the sample into bottles for confirmatory assay according to the legal procedure.

B. Tissue Sample (Livestock and poultry meat): Should keep refrigerated storage in dark place.

I. Cut 4G meet and viscus into pieces, and transfer these pieces into centrifuge tube. Cap the tube cap tightly.

II. Heat the tube in the water bath at above *0ºC for *0 minutes. Then take it out and cool to room temperature.

III. Absorb 3 drops (around *5µL) of the heated sample exudate, and then transfer it to a small centrifuge tube(1.5ml).

Iiii. Add 3 drops of buffer into the previous centrifuge tube to blend for testing.

Feed Sample:

I. Weigh more than 5g representative sample to grind;

II. Add 5mL acetonitrile into 1g of previous grinded sample to shake for 3 minutes;

III. Centrifuge for 5 minutes or filter, and absorb 1mL of it to dry out by water bath at *0ºC, then redissolve with **0µL PBS buffer solution for testing.

5. Interpreting Results

A. Negative(-): Both the development of T line and C line indicates that Clenbuterol concentration in sample is below 5μg/kg, or Clenbuterol is not contained.

B. Positive(+): Only the development of C line indicates that Clenbuterol concentration in sample is at or above 5μg/kg.

C. Invalid: No development appears in C line, which may caused by misoperation or expired strip. Under such circumstances, review the user manual carefully and retest using another new strip.

6. Specificity

Use this product to test **0ng/ml Salbutamol standard product. The result is negative. There is no cross reaction among this product, Streptomycin, Tetracycline, Chloramphenicol, Sulfonamides and other drugs.

7. Accurancy

While this product and the Clenbuterol ELISA test strip respectively are used to detect **6 samples which includes **6 negative samples and **0 positive samples for comparison. The result indicates that this product and the Clenbuterol ELISA test strip are corresponded *4.4%.
