Product Description

1.Product Introduction
Youlong Vomitoxin test strip is designed for rapid results of Vomitoxin contamination in grain(millet, corn, barley etc) and its products, which is suitable for various enterprises and testing institutions.The sensitivity of this product is **0μg/kg.The whole assay could be finished in 5 minutes.

4.Sample Preparation

a. Weigh 1g feed, grain and malt to grind (*5% passes through a *0 mesh screen); and the particles size of the grinded sample roughly equals to the fine instant coffee;
b. Transfer the grinded sample into a triangular flask;
c. Add 5mL mixture of methanol to water solution ratio of 1:9 (Sample Extraction) to the triangular flask;
d. Shake for *5 minutes;
e. Settle for 5 minutes to get supernatant
f. Absorb the supernatant and test directly

5.Interpreting Results
a. Negative(-): Both the development of T line and C line indicates that Vomitoxin concentration in sample is below detective limit, or Vomitoxin is not contained.
b. Positive(+): Only the development of C line indicates that Vomitoxin concentration in sample is at or above detective limit.
c. Invalid: No development appears in C line, which may caused by misoperation or expired strip. Under such circumstances, review the user manual carefully and retest using another new strip.

6.Specificity
There is no cross reaction among this product, Aflatoxin, T*2, Zearalenone and other Mycotoxin.

7.Accurancy
While this product and the Vomitoxin ELISA test strip respectively are used to detect **6 samples which includes **6 negative samples and **0 positive samples for comparison. The result indicates that this product and the Vomitoxin ELISA test strip are corresponded *5.1%.
