Product Description

1. Product Introduction
YouLong Salbutamol Immunology Rapid Test Strip is designed for rapid results of Salbutamol contamination in swine urine, tissue sample (Livestock and poultry meat), which is suitable for various enterprises and testing institutions. The sensitivity of this product is 5 μg/kg. The whole assay could be finished in 5 min.

4. Sample Preparation

A. Urine Sample:
Collect around *0 mL of urine with a dry and clean centrifuge tube or a proper vessel. Urine can be frozen storage at below *0ºC or be refrigerated storage at 4ºC in short-term, but should avoid failure or contamination caused by corruption. If there is precipitation or turbidity in urine, please centrifuge before testing. When the result is positive, divide the sample into bottles for confirmatory assay according to the legal procedure.

B. Tissue Sample (Livestock and poultry meat): should keep refrigerated storage in dark place.
1.    Cut 4g meet and viscus into pieces, and transfer these pieces to a 5 mL centrifuge tube. Cap the tube cap tightly.
2.    Heat the tube in the water bath at above *0ºC for *0 minutes. Then take it out and cool to room temperature.
3.    Take 3 drops (around *5µL) of the heated sample exudate to a small centrifuge tube (1.5mL).
4.    Add 3 drops of buffer to mix well for testing.

C. Feed Sample:
1.    Weigh more than 5 g representative feed sample to crush;
2.     Add 5mL of acetonitrile to 1 g of crushed sample, shake for 3 minutes;
3.    Centrifuge for 5 min or filter, and take 1mL of supernatant or filtrate to dry out by water bath at *0ºC, then re-dissolve with **0 µL of PBS buffer solution for testing.

5. Interpreting Results
i. Negative(-): Both the development of T line and C line indicates that Clenbuterol concentration in sample is lower than the detective limit, or Salbutamol is not contained.
ii. Positive(+): Only the development of C line indicates that Salbutamol concentration in sample is at or more than the detective limit.
iii. Invalid: No development appears in C line, which may be caused by improper operation or expired strip. Under such circumstances, review the user manual carefully and retest using another new strip.

6. Specificity
Using this product to test **0ng/mL Ractopamine standard product, the result is negative.
There is no cross reaction among this product, Streptomycin, Tetracycline, Chloramphenicol, Sulfonamides and other drugs.

7. Accurancy
This product and the Salbutamol ELISA test kit respectively are used to detect **6 samples which includes *6 negative samples and *0 positive samples for comparison. The result indicates that this product and the Salbutamol ELISA test kit are corresponded *0.1%.
