Detailed introduction:
Drum mixer, as one of the main equipment for sintering system in steel mill, is used for mixing materials and installed in front of sintering machine. It has such features as simple structure, reliable operation, high efficiency of mixing and pelletizing. Generally, the materials are mixed twice, one is for mixing uniformly, an d the other is for pelletizing. Driving devices of drum mixer are divided into two kinds, driving by gears and driving by rubber wheels. Drum mixer is used widely in iron and steel &metallurgical industry, as well as in other industries for mixing and baling of powder materials. Gear rings have high torque and long service life, but cause big noise; rubber wheels can use solid or hollow pneumatic tires to drive smoothly and make small vibration and noise. Driving devices of rubber wheels can be installed in the middle or at both ends according to users requirements, and all the equipment can be mounted at left or right side. In order to improve the mixing effect, the lifting board is installed in the drum; to prevent the sticky materials, the linings are installed in the drum. There are linings of wearable rubbers, oil nylon and high molecular materials, etc
