The curing speed depends on the adhered base material. The following table suggests the curing time of Yuwang YT**1 adhering different base materials under the conditions of *3℃/*0% relative humidity. Curing time is defined as the time of sample shear strength reaching 0.1N/nm2.

Relationship of curing rate with adhesion gap

Curing rate depends on the adhesion gap. If adhesion gap is smaller, curing rate will be more rapid. Increased adhesion gap will reduce the curing rate.



Relationship of curing rate with an accelerant

In case that curing is too slow due to too large adhesion gap, it is feasible to increase the curing rate by usingan accelerant on the surface of base material. However, such treatment will reduce the final strength of adhesion. Therefore, it is recommended to conduct testing for determining the actual adhesion effect.
